Thomas (Tom) Powell

Uncle Tom Powell is the founder of Red Dust Healing (RDH), a cultural healing program written from an Indigenous Australian perspective. RDH supports individuals to heal from trauma using visual tools and by acknowledging that people hold the solutions to their own lives. The program has reached over 17,000 participants in 400 communities, and participants speak to the power of Red Dust Healing in helping them to transform their lives and to find a way forward towards healing and empowerment. An evaluation in 2017 found that the program has a ripple effect beyond individuals, to their family and communities.
