Sarah Meredith

Sarah has led campaign efforts to end extreme poverty, securing close to a billion dollars for multilateral agencies such as the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Gavi the Vaccine Alliance, the Global Fund to Fight HIV Aids, TB and Malaria and the Global Partnership for Education.
She produced Global Citizen Sydney - filmed at the Sydney Opera House with Delta Goodrem, Hugh Jackman and Cathy Freeman - as part of worldwide 24 broadcast to raise funds to defend the planet and defeat poverty. Sarah recently led efforts to appeal the ACNC’s rejection of Global Citizen's PBI Status application. This resulted in the AAT overturning the decision and stating that advocacy is an indispensable part of the work of charities, setting a precedent enabling charities to undertake advocacy.
