Dr Kathryn Currow
Managing Director and Founder
Taking Paediatrics Abroad
Kathryn runs an initiative addressing the critical shortage of paediatric sub-specialist medical knowledge in developing countries in the region. Taking Paediatrics Abroad connects doctors and other health professionals from Australia with colleagues in remote communities and developing countries (such as Tonga, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands) to share clinical knowledge and expertise to support sick children and their families. To date, Kathryn has conducted 250 telehealth sessions across all specialisations.
Her mission is to share expertise in paediatric care to prevent and control diseases, save lives and create a brighter future for children and young people in developing countries and in Australia.
