Roya's vision has been to create a global platform that empowers and amplifies youth voices. Videos for Change empowers young people to create one-minute videos that inspire empathy and action on social issues they're passionate about, and then spreads them far and wide. Videos for Change began as a national competition in Australia in 2016, with winning videos screened on national television. Now, tens of thousands of students from 100 countries across six continents have participated, with top videos screened at landmark events like COP26. In 2021 alone, total views surpassed 100 million, thanks to media partners like NBCUniversal Networks.
